Seeing how Carmen doesn't like us to leave any windows open in the mini-van and likes to have the temperature "just right" all of the time, I'm not convinced that a Wrangler is the right car for her.
Her Uncle Bill, her mother and Carmen all went to a car show in Cleveland in 2004 and saw a Pontiac Solstice and her Uncle Bill believes that is the car for her. I think it is a nice looking car, but I can't find any that are five years old with 80,000 miles.
Seeing how I bought my own first car for $1,500 when I was a freshman at Purdue, I have a hard time looking at these prices...

She won't be able to drive by herself until April, so maybe I can buy a motorcycle and just let her use my Jeep.

I say no to the motorcycle, your old one always scared the heck out of me. As for Carmen's car, I wish you luck. Something tells me that she is going to be quite particular about what she drives. Such an Eby....
Cars have one purpose and that is to get us from point A to Point B. Of course this is my perspective and my dear friend Kevin's perspective. However, taking in consideration that even though Carmen is somewhat of a female Kevin, I do believe her perspective of cars may vary from ours as her Uncle Keith has pointed out. My suggestion is that we devise a committee chaired by Brett Ledbetter and come up with the best car for Carmen. We could call it the "Carmen Car Committee Led by Ledbetter". Then on a Sunday, Tatesbrook has a business meeting (democracy style) and have a list of cars for our people to vote on for Carmen that the Carmen Car Committee conjured up. Just some ideas!!!
Update: A friend at work has offered to sell us a 1995 Jeep Cherokee for a price that I can't refuse just in time for her to get her license.
